Welcome Raggers to our cozy nest!

Never in my wildest dreams did the idea of having an official website crossed my mind. Seeing my name with a dot com beside it makes me step back and appreciate what I’ve achieved in the last two years.

March 25th, 2022, is a day I’ll never forget. Handing over my keys, bidding farewell to colleagues, and storing my belongings were some of the most stressful things I’ve done. Yet, it marked the beginning of our journey. I’ve always been an anxious person, but distinguishing between good and bad stress is crucial. This was the good kind. Almost felt like I was intoxicated, It elevated my mind and draped a sense of invisibility over me. Fast forward to my first show on June 2nd, 2022, at Bootleg Brewing in Corner Brook, NL—an unforgettable experience. I had the idea to record it for improvement, but I couldn’t watch past the first 30 seconds. Despite touring countless times, being alone on stage was new. I felt like I was going to explode. Let’s be honest; the pressure comes from within. There were only 5 people in the bar on a Thursday evening, but the self-imposed pressure can be overwhelming. We’re human; our qualities, weaknesses, and memories make us unique. Vulnerability isn’t a feeling people enjoy, myself included.

Moving forward, my anxiety has evolved into excitement for new goals and obstacles, propelling me further on my artistic journey. I won’t turn every blog into an essay—I’m neither a writer nor a philosopher. I’ll keep it convenient and simple, discussing my artistic progress, our shared journey, exciting news, or my travel adventures. Stay safe out there.

Always grateful to grow alongside you, Josh
